Quality Documentation Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Documentation Specialist to transition paper-based training records to electronic documentation systems. This role involves filing, archiving, and creating or verifying logbooks to support routine quality systems. You will work closely with the quality and compliance manager throughout the facility to ensure the highest standards of documentation and compliance.
Responsibilities
Transition paper-based training records to electronic documentation systems.
Maintain organized records and status tracking for all assigned training documents.
Communicate findings of document or batch mistakes to the quality manager.
Ensure all work adheres to ALCOA+ principles.
Support logbook creation, issuance, and verification, ensuring proper formatting, controlled numbering, and compliance with SOPs.
Assist the quality department with additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in data entry and data management.
Experience in documentation review and data analysis.
Ability to work in a laboratory environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, quality, or related field is preferred but not required.
Prior documentation experience is required.
Experience with MasterControl, GMP, pharmaceutical, animal health, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Experience with controlled documents or data entry is preferred.
Work Environment
The role involves working throughout the facility, including the lab, floor, and quality department. The desk is located within the quality department, which may be dusty at times. The position offers flexible working hours, with a standard 40-hour week or part-time options available. This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
