Aerotek Low Voltage Electrician in Omaha, Nebraska

Low Voltage Electrician – $22–$34/hr (Hiring ASAP!)

Job Description

Join a fast‑growing tech/electrical contractor installing and testing low‑voltage systems in commercial buildings. If you’ve got experience pulling wire, installing AV/security systems, or running conduit — this crew wants you on the job ASAP. Fast interview, quick start.

What You’ll Do

  • Install & test audio/video and paging systems

  • Pull cable through floors, ceilings, walls, and ductwork

  • Dress, label & terminate CAT5/6, fiber, coax, AV, fire alarm, security, access control

  • Install racks, trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF systems & workstation outlets

  • Perform firestopping, conduit work & basic power testing

  • Help with cleanup and material handling on active job sites

What You Need

  • Strong low‑voltage cable‑pulling skills

  • Experience in commercial construction environments

  • Ability to bend conduit & run wiring

  • Blueprint/schematic reading skills

  • Solid troubleshooting abilities

Preferred

  • 2+ years low‑voltage experience

  • Experience in access control, CCTV, or building automation

Pay / Shift

  • $22–$34/hr (based on experience)

  • Monday–Friday | 40 hours a week

  • OT available

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
