Job Title: Construction Laborer $20-25hr
Job Summary
The Construction Laborer supports the construction, installation, and maintenance of petroleum fueling infrastructure and EV charging stations. This role involves hands-on work such as excavation, concrete, piping, and equipment installation. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors while collaborating with a construction team to complete projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy construction equipment to excavate ditches and prepare job sites
Assist with installation of underground and above-ground storage tanks (USTs and ASTs)
Install gas dispensers, pumps, fuel monitoring systems, and product piping
Support construction of EV charging station infrastructure
Perform concrete removal, preparation, and re-pouring
Complete framing, mixing, pipe fitting, and finishing tasks
Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools (saws, shovels, rakes, etc.)
Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Travel to job sites as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
General labor and construction experience
Proficiency with concrete work
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Experience in excavation, plumbing, carpentry, and/or heavy equipment operation
Ability to frequently lift and move 75–100 lbs.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities
Professional interpersonal and communication skills
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Experience
Installation of petroleum equipment, including:
Underground and above-ground storage tanks
Fuel piping systems
Spill buckets
Gas dispenser installations

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
