Catholic Health Initiatives Associate Program Director - Endocrinology in Omaha, Nebraska
Job Summary and Responsibilities
CHI Health Clinic in partnership with Creighton University School of Medicine is actively recruiting an Associate Program Director for their fellowship program. The successful candidate contributes to the growth of our endocrinology program while engaging in meaningful patient care, medical education and scholarly activities.
What you can expect:
Full Time: .9 Clinical and .1 Academic FTE
Perform outpatient and inpatient clinical care
Great mix of outpatient general endocrinology and inpatient consults.
Call responsibility 8 weeks per year assisted by internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.
Treat patients with a full spectrum of endocrine conditions, including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, and metabolic disorders in addition to diabetes.
Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.
Anticipated volume 15 patients per full clinic day.
Contributes to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the fellowship curriculum, including didactic sessions, conferences, and clinical rotations.
Assists in identifying and assigning research projects for fellows, fostering their scholarly activity.
Collaborates closely with the Program Director on strategic planning, program evaluation, and ACGME accreditation requirements.
Faculty Appointment commensurate with experience at Creighton University School of Medicine
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Job Requirements
MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent required
Board certified in Internal Medicine
Board eligible/board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
2+ years experience as an Academic Faculty
A record of excellence in clinical care, education, and/or research.
