The Property Management Division (PMD) is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities management through the capital and operating budget process. The Property Management Division falls within the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau and consists of three sections, the Facilities Section, the Fleet Section, and the Supply Section. 

 

 

Duties

The *Facilities Section *is responsible for capital planning, projects, and maintenance for all WSP buildings representing approximately 1 million square feet, including leases; purchases; maintenance and janitorial; renovations and repairs. In addition, Facilities supports over 2,200 employees and over 200 facilities statewide. This section provides maintenance for all communication towers including electrical and generator work. The Facilities Section is also responsible for the maintenance of 63 weigh stations across the state in coordination with Commercial Vehicles Division, and also maintains the WSP's security and lock system.  

The incumbent is responsible for providing electrical repairs, maintenance, electrical distribution installation, lighting repairs, and upgrades on new equipment or in WSP building and grounds throughout the state.

 

 Our new teammate will be able to:

 

Trouble shooting and repairing electrical and HVAC issues installations of electrical, new equipment, stay current with electrical codes and current with EO1 license.

This is the journey level of series. Independently functions as a fully qualified electrician to perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair work on low voltage electrical equipment, and systems of 750 volts or less such a interior wiring and cables, connections for electrical machines, switches and controls, fuse boxes, breaker panels, distribution and instrument panels, buzzer and bell circuits, hearing and power circuits, and distribution systems. Unusual problems may be brought to higher level electricians for resolution.
