Cognizant Lead Data Engineer- Ataccama in Olympia, Washington

About the role

As a Lead Data Engineer you will make an impact by driving end‑to‑end data quality, data governance, and master data management (MDM) initiatives using the Ataccama, Collibra platform. You will be a valued member of the AIA team and work collaboratively with manager, co workers and clients.

In this role, you will:

· Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Ataccama (DQ, MDM, RDM, Data Catalog, Data Profiling).

· Build and optimize data quality rules, workflows, match/merge logic, and validation frameworks .

· Configure and maintain Ataccama pipelines , metadata models, and integration components.

· Implement data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and monitoring processes.

· Integrate Ataccama with enterprise systems such as:

  • Snowflake

  • Cloud platforms (AWS)

  • ETL/ELT pipelines

  • APIs and messaging systems

· Work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless data ingestion and processing.

Work model: Remote

What you need to have to be considered

· 5+ years in IT related role

· Strong hands on experience with Ataccama

· Good experience with Collibra and Snowflake

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 27, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000- $115,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
