The pay rate for this job is $40 - $40 / hour*
What You'll Do as a Field Service Control Technician :
The Field Service Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automation and control systems at customer sites
This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, mechanical functions, and electrical control systems
The technician will work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards
The position involves regular travel to customer locations, often with short notice, and requires strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Job Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Degree in Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of vocational training in Electromechanical Systems
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the OEM industry involved in designing, editing, installing and troubleshooting PLC and motion control software and hardware
Must be able to travel domestically and sometimes internationally away from home for extended periods of time (75-80%)
Ability to support various software control platforms for packaging machine to customer plant integration.
Knowledge of ladder logic, produced and consumed tags, messaging, as well as other machine integration tools.
Possess advanced mechanical, electrical and software skills.
Proficiency in operating controls systems of equipment (Allen Bradley, Rexroth, Siemens, PLC, HMI, etc.).
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate effectively to the intended audience
Background check and Drug test required
