Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of electrical and multi-craft maintenance technicians to achieve plant performance goals. This role involves effective problem resolution, labor utilization, and driving continuous maintenance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all employees by actively engaging in safety activities and communicating safe work expectations.

  • Investigate and support situations where equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived safety risks.

  • Complete responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

  • Lead risk assessment activities by driving prioritized corrective and preventative actions to reduce environmental, health, or safety risks.

  • Conduct and lead all required safety meetings such as Pre-shift, Department Change Management, and Town Halls.

  • Perform incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.

  • Ensure the training and development of all assigned employees.

  • Set and achieve organizational unit goals, ensuring all employees understand and work towards these goals.

  • Motivate and coach employees through effective communication and frequent performance feedback.

  • Implement and lead plant safety objectives within the department.

  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance, and process excellence.

  • Establish accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction.

  • Coordinate planned downtime with the schedule and maintain compliant maintenance records.

  • Assist with site regulatory compliance, budget development, and spending control.

  • Ensure effective 6S implementation and assist with stockroom inventory management.

  • Partner with Human Resources for effective management of human capital.

  • Train backups and others as designated in all tasks.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Maintenance and 1 year in a direct supervisory role.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of industrial electrical maintenance/engineering principles and techniques.

  • Supervisory and management skills.

  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.

  • Professional certification such as CMRT or other relevant certifications preferred.

  • OSHA 30-hour certification.

  • Certified or eligible to become certified in CPR/First Aid/BBP.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Capability to work in tight spaces and at heights.

  • Ability to handle exposure to noise, chemicals, and moving machinery.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Old Hickory, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
