Insight Global Support Engineering Data Specialist II in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description

A lot of researching parts/material data on bombers and military aircraft, interfacing with the engineering team and or supplier management and other product support IPT's. Database and web searches, entering found data into spreadsheets/databases, and reporting on their researched finds. Former military aircraft maintainers, product support experience, experience with spare parts/provisioning/supply chain. This resource is not building out a database so the team is not looking for a programming engineer or product engineer.

Compensation: Up to $63.94/hr up based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request.

Skills and Requirements

• Establish DMSMS Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issues.

 • Gather Engineering Data: Collect and analyze engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyses.

 • Identify DMSMS Risks and Issues: Monitor and identify risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readiness.

 • Evaluate Impact: Assess the potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operations.

 • Develop Recommendations and Roadmaps: Create actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder requirements.

 • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.

 • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.

 • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project management and problem-solving methodologies. • Experience in DMSMS and obsolescence management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.

 • Familiarity with military aircraft systems and modification processes.

 • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in the aerospace industry.
