Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in delivering expert technical service and support to our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Oklahoma City, or Tulsa OK location on an Remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact customer experience by ensuring reliable and efficient operation of building automation systems, contributing to energy efficiency, safety, and productivity for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Honeywell building automation systems and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on field experience.
YOU MUST HAVE
Proven experience in field service or technical support roles related to building automation or similar systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, control systems, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in building automation system maintenance and repair.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience working with Honeywell building automation products and software is highly desirable.
Willing to work independently and travel to customer sites (requiring overnight stay occasionally)
Willing to work on a rotating emergency on-call shift which includes nights and weekends
WE VALUE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related technical field.
N4 (Niagra) Certification preferred
5+ years of experience in field service or technical roles within building automation or related industries.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in building systems.
