ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician 2 to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting building operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Technician 2
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay Range: $28.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
What's the Job?
Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and facility systems to meet applicable standards.
Conduct predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, including equipment rounds and service requests.
Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Ensure all duties are performed safely, adhering to established work standards and practices.
Monitor and evaluate building systems to optimize performance and operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED equivalent; additional trade school, union training, military service, or college education is desirable.
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial building preventative and corrective maintenance.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Building Management System (BMS).
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
