SCHEDULE : Primarily day shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with on-call rotations.
Job Summary:
Maintenance and support of the computer and network hardware, infrastructure and supported applications which may include telecommunication systems.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Works under the guidance of the Senior Analyst, Technical Support, to provide support and participate in project activities.
Responsible for facility IS duties, minor hardware/software configuration, and repairs.
Installs, repairs, modifies, maintains, and provides technical support for applications, PC operating systems, PC hardware, printers, and related peripherals.
Provides operational and administrative support, including testing, printing and report distribution, backups, first-line support, etc.
Utilizes the service ticketing system to log reported issues, document resolution, and/or assign to the appropriate work group.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
EXPERIENCE
Prior experience with minor hardware/software configuration and
repairs.
Experience with Active Directory.
One year of customer service experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more), and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication—ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
