Cognizant Data Operations Lead in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Cognizant is a leading provider of IT and BPO services, providing critical initiatives to a variety of global clients. We have a small team of Data Operations associates, and we are looking to hire a Data Operations Lead to oversee day to day responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in Data Operations and in leading a team.
This is a fully remote role for candidates living in the US.
Role Responsibilities
Own and maintain comprehensive documentation for newly onboarded applications.
Analyze backlog tickets, create closure plans, and ensure timely resolution.
Lead Incident Management and Change Management activities to ensure platform stability.
Facilitate weekly and monthly status review calls with management and stakeholders.
Review team tickets and provide guidance on technical best practices and standards.
Create and maintain knowledge base (KB) articles; promote knowledge sharing across the team.
Prioritize requests based on business impact and operational urgency.
Ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of new applications.
Provide technical support and guidance to development teams and cross-functional partners as needed.
Conduct internal technical sessions aligned to project and platform needs.
Plan user stories, assign work to the team, and ensure on-time delivery.
Review user stories and monitor progress across the team to ensure alignment with commitments.
Desired Skills & Experience
At least a high school diploma is required, bachelor's is strongly preferred
5 years of Data Operations experience
Experience leading a team
Relevant experience or familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Tableau, Qlik, GitHub, SQL and JIRA
Being bilingual in Spanish is nice to have, but not required
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until May 15th, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $109,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
