ONE Gas Customer Service Rep III (Oklahoma or Texas) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

What You Will Do

Work in Customer Relations; respond to moderately complex customer requests and inquiries regarding service, billing, and programs.

Assist customers and employees through website, email, and telephone with moderately complex account inquiries and service requests including:

  • Payment activity

  • Establish/change service

  • Emergency situations

  • Service/payment disputes

Research customer account activity using office equipment including:

  • Calculators

  • Computers

  • Fax

  • Printer

Negotiate arrangements for payment of gas bills; provide information concerning governmental agencies and special programs providing assistance.

Enter customer account activity into Customer Information System (CIS) including: Service orders, Account adjustments

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need

Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including use of computers and applications.

Working knowledge of application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Application of decimals and percentages.

Experience answering customer telephone calls and responding to requests for service and inquiries concerning accounts.

  • Experience and training related to:

  • Customer service policies and procedures

  • Customer relations/communication skills

  • Customer Information System (CIS)

Experience readingInterpreting customer account information, maps, and atlas pages.

Read and write fluently in English.

Stationary for extended periods.

React immediately to emergency situations.

Operate tools and equipment required.

Communicate and exchange verbal and written information and instructions to perform job responsibilities.
