Insight Global Construction Sales Support Estimator - OKC in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Job Description
A client in the OKC area is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven Sales Support Estimator to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the sales process by translating customer needs and field assessments into accurate, high-quality technical estimates and proposals. Partnering closely with Account Executives, the Sales Support Estimator serves as a key technical advisor from initial discovery through proposal delivery.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with Account Executives to scope projects and support active proposals
Conduct site walks to capture notes, photos, drawings, and technical requirements
Analyze plans and site conditions to design moderate-complexity system solutions
Build technical BOMs by selecting components, assigning labor, and pricing projects
Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and proposal documentation
Support RFIs/RFPs and coordinate shop drawings and technical documentation
Identify cost-effective solutions that align with customer needs, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate with vendors on pricing, registrations, and product availability
Advise sales and project teams on materials and lead-time considerations
Communicate with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and AHJs as needed

Skills and Requirements
1+ years as an Estimator
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Ability to take initiative and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
Experience or foundational knowledge in engineering principles related to:
Electronic security systems
Fire alarm systems
Building automation systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills Operations, or technical support background preferred
