Job Description

The Cleanroom Packer works in a controlled food production environment to package products safely and accurately. This role involves handling and inspecting food items, including products containing nuts, and ensuring they are packed according to quality and cleanliness standards. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude while working as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleanroom packaging of food products while following all cleanliness and handling procedures.

  • Work comfortably around food products, including items containing nuts, and ensure proper handling at all times.

  • Inspect products for quality and consistency before and during the packing process.

  • Pack products efficiently and accurately according to established specifications and production targets.

  • Support general production tasks as needed, including basic food handling and material movement.

  • Follow all safety, cleanliness, and hygiene guidelines in the cleanroom and production areas.

  • Communicate clearly with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to maintain smooth workflow.

  • Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts to support consistent production.

  • Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining a good attitude and working cooperatively with others.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work comfortably around food products, including products containing nuts.

  • No nut allergies, due to regular exposure to nuts in the production environment.

  • Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality with no ongoing attendance issues.

  • Ability to perform general labor and packing tasks in a production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous food production experience.

  • Experience in general production, packing, or industrial environments.

  • Experience with inspection and basic quality checks.

  • Food handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

  • Bilingual communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a cleanroom food production and warehouse environment, working directly with food products that include nuts. The standard shift runs from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturdays required when requested, though not every Saturday is worked. During slower periods, the shift typically adjusts to 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The work involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive packing and general labor tasks, and following strict cleanliness, hygiene, and safety procedures appropriate for a food handling environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
