? Pay: $23+ per hour (based on experience)
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays

Position Overview
Waste Connections is seeking safety‑focused Residential Rear‑Load Garbage Truck Drivers who take pride in hard work, teamwork, and career growth. This is a driver‑to‑driver position that requires both driving and riding on the back of the truck while servicing residential neighborhoods.
Safety is our #1 value. Candidates must be comfortable working in active residential areas, performing physical labor, and following strict safety procedures throughout the route.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a residential rear‑load garbage truck on assigned routes
Ride on the back of the truck between stops while servicing residential areas
Repeatedly climb on and off the truck throughout the shift
Lift, pull, and empty residential trash containers
Perform heavy physical labor for the duration of the route
Safely and courteously interact with customers in residential neighborhoods
Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and route procedures
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Assist driving partner to complete routes safely and efficiently
Job Requirements
✅ Valid CDL required
✅ Minimum 2 years of work experience , with a stable work history
✅ Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
✅ Able and willing to ride on the back of the truck during residential collections
✅ Comfortable with frequent climbing on and off the truck
✅ Willing to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other conditions
✅ Able to work long shifts (50–60 hours per week)
✅ Residential Rear‑Load or Front‑Load driving experience is a PLUS
