Night Shift Maintenance Technician | Ogden,UT
Nexeo HR is hiring a skilled Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support a reputable manufacturing facility in Ogden,Utah. This role offers a stable night shift in a high-paced production environment and is ideal for maintenance professionals with strong electrical,mechanical,and hydraulic experience. This position runs through the spring with potential for long-term conversion and provides hands-on troubleshooting,preventive maintenance,and equipment repair while working closely with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 4 20mA signals,motors,voltages,sensors,and controls
Diagnose and repair mechanical,hydraulic,and pneumatic systems
Support preventive maintenance programs and complete required documentation
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and calibration of sensors,valves,and equipment
Perform lubrication,alignment,inspections,and routine equipment checks
Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with parts ordering
Collaborate with production teams,supervisors,and outside contractors
Respond to equipment issues during assigned shift and support operational uptime
Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and OSHA standards
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician,Maintenance Mechanic,or similar role
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
Experience with hydraulics,pneumatics,conveyors,motors,and production equipment
Understanding of preventive maintenance systems
Basic to intermediate PLC and industrial controls experience
Ability to read schematics,electrical diagrams,and blueprints
Ability to work independently on night shift
Strong communication,organization,and time-management skills
Willingness to complete day-shift training prior to moving to night shift
Ability to work a consistent night schedule (7:00 PM 5:00 AM)
Pay
$27.00 per hour
Schedule
Night Shift: 7:00 PM 5:00 AM,Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday
Training Schedule: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (day shift,initial training period)
