Machine Assembler II | Ogden,UT
Nexeo HR has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Ogden,UT to hire an experienced Machine Assembler II / Electro-Mechanical Technician.
This role supports automated production equipment and requires a strong mechanical and electrical background. If you enjoy building machines from blueprints,troubleshooting equipment,and working hands-on with electrical,pneumatic,and hydraulic systems,this is a great opportunity with long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and build machines and production equipment from blueprints,schematics,and technical drawings
- Interpret electrical,mechanical,hydraulic,and pneumatic diagrams
- Assemble components including cables,tubing,wiring,and mechanical assemblies
- Build and wire electrical control panels
- Operate,monitor,and adjust automated or semi-automated equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical,electrical,pneumatic,or hydraulic issues
- Perform minor maintenance and support preventative maintenance activities
- Inspect assemblies and finished equipment to ensure quality and functionality
- Record production data and maintain documentation as required
- Maintain a clean,organized,and safe work area (5S standards)
- Train or assist lower-level assemblers when needed
- Follow all safety requirements and company policies
Qualifications
- 1 3 years of experience in machine assembly,maintenance,or technician roles
- Strong understanding of mechanical machines and assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints,electrical schematics,and diagrams
- Electrical background strongly preferred
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Basic PLC knowledge preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools,power tools,and basic testing equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed
- Clean background and drug screen required
- Must pass a machine assembly assessment with an 80% or higher score
Pay
$20.00 $30.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Day Shift | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
