CNC Machinist / Machine Builder | Ogden,UT

Nexeo HR has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Ogden,UT to hire a skilled CNC Machinist / Machine Builder.

 This is a hands-on role supporting the build and maintenance of precision production equipment. In this position,you will machine custom components from detailed blueprints using both manual and CNC equipment. This opportunity is ideal for machinists who enjoy precision work,tight tolerances,and contributing to high-quality manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision components from detailed blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up,operate,and tear down projects on manual mills,lathes,and CNC machines
• Work with FANUC / Mitsubishi controls and perform basic G & M code editing
• Fabricate,retrofit,and repair components for production and custom equipment
• Inspect finished parts using calipers,micrometers,and gauges to ensure tight tolerances
• Assist with building,modifying,and maintaining automated production machinery
• Perform troubleshooting,repairs,and preventative maintenance as needed
• Safely operate overhead cranes and machine shop equipment
• Maintain a clean,organized,and safe work area
• Follow all safety standards,including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience operating manual and CNC mills and lathes
• Familiarity with FANUC or Mitsubishi controls and basic CNC programming concepts
• Experience in a machine shop or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and perform precision machining
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing,bending,and stooping
• Technical schooling in machining,mechatronics,or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on machining experience preferred
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional travel as needed
• Strong commitment to safety,quality,and workmanship

Pay

$20.00 $30.00 per hour

Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
