A food manufacturing company in North County San Diego is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support order flow, shipment scheduling, and vendor coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes but can also adapt to changing daily demands. This position supports both production and distribution, helping ensure products move efficiently from facility to customer. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a time-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments and deliveries
Work with vendors, carriers, and internal teams on logistics planning
Track orders and ensure on-time delivery
Maintain shipping logs, documentation, and records
Assist with inventory coordination and product flow
Handle order adjustments and last-minute changes
Support communication between production and distribution teams
Monitor timelines and escalate delays when needed
Requirements
1–3 years of logistics or supply chain experience
Experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and logistics systems
Strong communication skills
