Job Summary
Serves as a temporary, full-time informal assistant for K-12 summer camp students. Assistant counselors help summer camp counselors be an integral part of the summer camp instructional planning and implementation process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall safety of all students within the group.
Prepare necessary supplies and materials for each day’s activities.
Cleaning and reorganizing materials and classrooms used by groups during the day.
Must have a knowledge of all weekly activities and assist in the execution of daily activities in the classroom and while on off-campus field trips.
Performs other duties as assigned.
