The Shift Team Lead is responsible for leading day‑to‑day production activity within the Fillpack area, ensuring performance against key metrics and KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people, while maintaining the highest standards of GMP and compliance.

This position is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be based on‑site. You will be a part of the Fillpack Production Team and report to the Supervisor, Production Operations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and coordinate daily Fillpack production activities to meet customer demand, schedule adherence, and inventory targets.

  • Deputise for the Supervisor, Production Operations as required, providing operational coverage and leadership support.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Quality Systems Regulations, and Batch History Record (BHR) requirements, including review and issuance of documentation.

  • Drive strong EHS and quality performance through effective communication of standards, audits, and line clearance activities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through DBS, Muda reduction, WCM tools, and standard work practices.

  • Coordinate training, coaching, and procedural updates for Associates to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

  • Support the department in NCPR closures, deviation management, and customer complaint investigations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a regulated manufacturing or production environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working within GMP and Quality Systems Regulations, including batch documentation compliance.

  • Proven experience leading day‑to‑day production activities in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Oracle or equivalent).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Participation in audits or direct interaction with internal or external auditors.

  • Use of structured continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean / Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.

  • Experience supporting deviation investigations, NCPRs, or customer complaint resolution.

  • Experience with production planning or work order management and time and attendance systems.
