Mobile Mechanic – Heavy Equipment
Ocala, FL
We are hiring a Mobile Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the field.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment (haul trucks, loaders, dozers, etc.)
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Complete work orders and document repairs (SAP or similar)
Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation
Order parts and support maintenance scheduling
Requirements:
3–5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience
Strong troubleshooting skills (diesel, hydraulics, electrical)
Welding and mechanical repair experience preferred
Valid driver's license
Ability to work shifts, overtime, and on-call
Physical Requirements:
Lift 75+ lbs
Work in outdoor, industrial environments
Comfortable with heights and confined spaces
Preferred:
5+ years experience
Technical training or certifications
