Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Ocala, Florida

Maintenance Technician

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Fridays: Overtime as needed

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will primarily be responsible for ensuring production operations continue running smoothly. Most production is performed through hand assembly using various tools, including pneumatic tools. This role supports both reactive and preventive maintenance across equipment and tooling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production tools to ensure they are in good working condition

  • Repair tools when they break or show signs of wear, or coordinate replacement as needed

  • Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment, including:

  • Replacing worn hoses

  • Lubricating components

  • Replacing sensors

  • Log preventive maintenance activities and repairs in a CMMS system

  • Order parts as needed through the CMMS

  • Occasionally weld or fabricate parts as required

  • Support overall production uptime and efficiency

Additional Skills & Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Hydraulics experience

  • Strong troubleshooting Understanding of and/or experience rebuilding gearboxes

  • Experience with sensors, conveyor belts, and pulleys

  • Experience with 3‑phase motors

  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
