Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Ocala, Florida

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Ocala, FL (34474)

Shift: 4:30am-3:00pm Mon-Thurs (Occasionally Friday Overtime)

Pay: $23-$26/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Ocala, FL. This role is critical to ensuring production runs smoothly by maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment, tools, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous production by supporting and repairing manufacturing equipment

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair pneumatic tools used in hand‑assembly operations

  • Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment , including:

  • Replacing worn hoses

  • Lubricating components

  • Replacing sensors

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as they arise

  • Repair tools or coordinate replacement when tools are worn or damaged

  • Log preventative maintenance, repairs, and work orders in a CMMS system

  • Order parts and maintenance supplies through CMMS

  • Perform welding and light fabrication as needed

  • Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with hydraulic systems

  • Preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for PM tracking and parts ordering

  • Experience maintaining and repairing pneumatic tools

  • Welding and/or fabrication skills

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

  • Advanced troubleshooting experience

  • Understanding of and/or experience rebuilding gearboxes

  • Experience with:

  • Sensors

  • Conveyor belts

  • Pulleys

  • Knowledge of 3‑phase motors

Work Environment

  • Non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing facility

  • Physically active role supporting production operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL 34474.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
