CNC Machinist – Weekend Shift
Position Overview
The CNC Machinist will set up and operate 3‑axis CNC Mills and/or Lathes in a high‑volume production environment . This role focuses on producing precision parts used in company products. Candidates will inspect parts, change tooling, select programs, and perform multiple setups per shift.
Materials machined include iron, brass, stainless steel , with occasional work on aluminum and plastics .
Shift Schedule (Weekend Shift)
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (3x12 schedule)
Training:
Training will take place on weekday/day shift
Duration: Minimum 2 weeks , up to 4 weeks depending on skill level
Pay Rate
$20 – $22 per hour
Based on experience and skill level
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
Run production machining with high part volumes
Perform 2–3 machine setups per day
Select and load programs based on work orders, diagrams, and blueprints
Change tooling and perform machine adjustments as needed
Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
Machine parts using iron, brass, stainless steel, aluminum , and occasional plastics
Follow safety and quality standards

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
