? What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll work with blueprints, schematics, and a variety of tools to assemble large pumps used in emergency fire equipment.
Your responsibilities include:
Building and assembling mechanical components and pump systems using hand tools, power tools, presses, cranes, and hoists
Following detailed procedures, blueprints, and mechanical best practices
Inspecting and documenting any defects
Installing, aligning, fitting, and adjusting components to meet precise specifications
Using measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy
Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs as needed
Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe

Preferred Skills:
Basic mechanical ability
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Ability to read blueprints or schematics (or willingness to learn!)
Understanding of pneumatics or mechanical assembly is a plus
Comfortable using cranes, hoists, and presses (training provided)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
