Nesco Resource CNC Machinist Vertical Mill - Oberlin, OH in Oberlin, Ohio
Job title: CNC Machinist - Vertical Mill Location: Oberlin, OH Shift: 2nd (230 pm - 11 pm, with ability to work Overtime as needed) Wage: $18-$23 an hour based on experience Contract to hire Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Mills/Lathes and Bridgeport machines
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Load and unload raw materials in machines
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Perform tool wear offsets
- Perform cleaning and light maintenance on machinery
- Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 3 or more years' of consecutive experience performing set ups and operating CNC Milling machines
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good problem solving, math, and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
- Must pass a pre-employment screening
