Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – School-Based
Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who loves working with students and making a meaningful impact in a school setting? We’re looking for a dedicated COTA to join a collaborative educational team and help students develop the skills they need to succeed—both in and out of the classroom!
About the Role
Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide occupational therapy services to students in a school environment. Responsibilities include delivering treatment, supporting assessments, implementing therapy plans, and completing required documentation.
? What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Pediatric experience preferred
One (1) year of COTA experience preferred
Adherence to all professional standards of practice
Current CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
