Job Description
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production and packaging systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various systems and machinery.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Service, adjust, and test machines, devices, and moving parts.
Install, align, dismantle, and relocate stationary industrial machinery such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators.
Work with automated equipment including PLCs, robotics, motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, automation, and controls.
Knowledge of motors, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Proficiency with conveyors, PLCs, and packaging machines.
Technical certification such as 442A or 309A.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Eager attitude and willingness to work overtime.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
