Insight Global AWS DevOps Engineer (xECM) in Oakland, California
Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level AWS DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support an enterprise-grade AWS environment to host SAP S/4HANA and OpenText xECM. This role will be responsible for developing AWS architecture, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and installing and supporting large-scale enterprise applications in the cloud.
The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines, and has previously installed and supported complex enterprise platforms (such as SAP, ERP, ECM, or similar systems) on AWS. While prior OpenText xECM experience is a plus, it is not required—strong experience installing enterprise applications on AWS is essential.

Skills and Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, networking, security, monitoring, etc.)
Proven experience designing and developing AWS architecture for enterprise applications
Solid Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong DevOps background, including automation, environment provisioning, and operational best practices
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience installing and supporting SAP S/4HANA (or similar SAP platforms) on AWS
Experience installing and managing enterprise-grade applications in cloud environments
Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience with OpenText xECM (or other OpenText products)
Prior experience supporting ECM, ERP, or large-scale enterprise platforms in AWS
Familiarity with SAP integrations and SAP-related AWS reference architectures
