What You'll Do as a Med Surg RN at CHI Oakes Hospital:
Provide direct patient care on our medical-surgical unit, encompassing a wide range of diagnoses and conditions.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and utilize advanced nursing skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and intervene appropriately.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge planning, and medication adherence.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
Champion patient safety and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Dakota (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association.
Current ACLS certification.
PALS or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Where You'll Work
CHI Oakes Hospital, is a 20-bed critical access hospital that provides various inpatient and outpatient services to approximately 14,000 people in southeastern North Dakota. It is also a 24-Hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center. The hospital building was newly-constructed in 2007, replacing a 50-year old building, and in 2010, Oakes Community Clinic was opened within the hospital building. The hospital is part of a larger values-based organization, CommonSpirit Health.
Pay Range
$34.00 - $50.58 /hour
