ManpowerGroup Coordinator Japan Desk in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

Our client, the automotive industry leader, is seeking a Coordinator Japan Desk to join their team. As a Senior Coordinator Japan Desk, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the Japan Desk team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Coordinator Japan Desk

Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid in office three days per week)

Pay Range: $24

Shift: 8 am - 5 pm

What's the Job?

  • Support customer inquiries related to vehicle purchase, service, and customer experience areas, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.

  • Communicate effectively with dealers via email and phone, providing guidance and support throughout the customer journey.

  • Assist with the coordination of vehicle financing, leasing, and resale processes for expatriates and local customers.

  • Lead training sessions for new team members, sharing best practices and operational procedures to ensure team success.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive operational manuals to standardize processes and promote long-term team efficiency.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably within the automotive industry.

  • Fluent in Japanese (speaking, reading, writing, listening) with mastery of Japanese business etiquette.

  • Proficient in English (intermediate to proficient level) for effective communication with internal teams and dealer partners.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
