Tessera is seeking a hardworking and detailed Janitor with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop the floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures. Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Clean halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Clean entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Trash - trash in lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, and shower/locker daily. Office areas trash according to the schedule. Restock supplies - restock supplies daily. Dust - dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust-free areas only. Clean stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule. Cleaning portable showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross-contamination procedures. Maintain lockers - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment before storing. Wet/Dry mop - wet/dry mop each floor according to the schedule. Sweep - sweep each area according to the schedule. Communicate with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications: Six (6) months of janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to use safe work practices and demonstrate the ability to multitask. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
