School Social Worker – $50/hr – Oak Forest, IL – In-Person – 16 Weeks
Position Overview:
We are seeking a School Social Worker to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide social work services to students requiring intervention and support. This role includes contributing to the development of IHPs and IEPs and supporting students with high behavioral and social-emotional needs in a school setting.
Assignment Details:
Location: Oak Forest, IL
Start Date: 02/23/2026
End Date: Approximately 16 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 33.75 per week
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Modality: In-person only
Openings: 1 position
Responsibilities:
Provide school-based social work services to students requiring intervention and support
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IHP and IEP development
Support students with Autism and high support needs
Participate in team meetings and contribute professional input on student services
Maintain documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
Work collaboratively with other social workers and behavioral support staff
Requirements:
Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement
MSW or LCSW may be required per state or contract guidelines
School-based social work experience required
Experience supporting students with Autism and high support needs required
CPR certification if applicable
TB screening and health certificate per state guidelines
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
