Job Description
The Lead Plant Maintenance Technician works with the most advanced freeze dry technology in the world. Responsibilities
Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as boilers, chillers, vacuum pumps, water pumps, packaging equipment, ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical systems up to 480V.
Execute mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Essential Skills
Experience as a maintenance technician with skills in electrical, mechanical, repair, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and pneumatics.
MUST HAVE experience troubleshooting and repairing at least 2 of the 5 equipment systems below and 3+ years working as a lead.
Proficient in ammonia refrigeration, vacuum pumps, water pumps, packaging equipment, and electrical repairs up to 480V.
Experience in preventive maintenance and industrial PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with ammonia refrigeration.
Proficiency in vacuum pumps.
Familiarity with water pumps.
Knowledge of packaging equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment is extremely clean, although some areas of the facility are very cold. The current maintenance team includes a maintenance manager and two technicians, with plans to expand to 12+ in 2024. Shifts run from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday through Thursday and 6 PM to 6 AM Monday through Thursday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $80000.00/yr.
