JOB REQUIREMENTS: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Employee Johnstone Supply, Oak Creek, WI Johnstone Supply, a leading wholesale distributor in the HVACR industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Warehouse Employee to join our team in Oak Creek, WI. Location: Oak Creek WI 53154 Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (This role also acts as a backup driver for our Joliet IL nightly run. This would require you to be comfortable driving a 26\' box truck and be available second shift as needed.) Responsibilities In this dynamic role, you will contribute to both warehouse and delivery functions. You\'ll be responsible for ensuring that products are handled efficiently and delivered to customers safely and on time. Your tasks will include: Driving company trucks for customer deliveries and vendor pickups while adhering to safety regulations. Participating in the transfer of merchandise between branches. Performing various warehouse duties, such as processing, stocking, picking, and replenishing inventory. Unloading, checking in, and labeling products as part of the processing workflow. Stocking products in designated storage shelves and bins throughout the facility. Conducting cycle counts and managing the removal of trash and recyclables. Required Skills and Knowledge To excel in this role, you should bring a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail. You will need the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Candidate needs to be aged 21 or older and must have a valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record. Ability to control the performance of the vehicle and ensure safe deliveries. Strong map-reading and navigation skills to follow assigned routes. Ability to supervise the loading and unloading of cargo efficiently. Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on customer relations. Polite phone etiquette and legible handwriting. Good listening skills and empathy toward customer needs. Self-starter mindset and ability to work well in a team-based environment. Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for long periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately.
