Volunteer Coordinator – Part time

As a Volunteer Coordinator , you’ll lead and support our hospice and home health volunteer program, ensuring volunteers are well‑trained, supported and meaningfully connected to patient and family needs.
What You’ll Do
Recruit, screen, train and assign hospice and home health volunteers
Coordinate volunteer orientation, education and ongoing support
Maintain volunteer records, documentation and required reports
Assign volunteers based on patient and family needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Supervise and evaluate volunteers and serve as liaison between volunteers and care teams
Ensure compliance with CHAP, Medicare and organizational standards

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Social Sciences or related field (or comparable experience)
1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare (hospice preferred)
Experience working with volunteer programs
Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end‑of‑life care
Valid driver’s license and commitment to ethical, compliant practice

Compensation Range: $22.87 – $36.59 per hour
