As the Program Analyst, you will provide programmatic support to one of our USAF customers in the Montgomery, AL (Gunter AFB) area. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact on our military defense.
Serco supports the USAF as a Prime for their NexGen IT contract. Serco supports the Air Force (AF) Civil Engineering (CE) community NexGen IT initiative’s implementation of IBM TRIRIGA is the largest in the world. Serco manages all aspects of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) for the NexGen IT program including requirements definition, development, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting and supports all infrastructure for the installations.
You will be part of a large team that works closely with the customers, end users, and other Serco teams to deliver quality software, innovations, and administration tasks. The team has been recognized by the USAF and industry for their outstanding contributions to the program.
In this role, you will:
Review presentations, briefs, and formal correspondence for the Program Manager.
Maintain applicable Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) as directed/required by the Program Manager.
Interface with stakeholders to identify, assign, and track action items, leveraging initiatives to benefit sustainment support.
Collect information and provide recommendations to senior decision-makers through well-written documents.
Communicate with various Program Office representatives within USAF Program Management Office as needed to address concerns.
Coordinate with the technical team and develop white papers and presentations for the Program Manager on program status or issues impacting the program.
Provide analysis and metrics for issues that arise in the Program (i.e., late delivery analysis, delay claim analysis, and other availability issues).
Conduct Meeting Administration (generate and distribute agendas, minutes, action items, etc.), particularly Technical Workshops (TEW) meeting with US stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage all required contract CDRLs and dates.
Organize and maintain Program tracking files/tools on program status, actions items and issues.
Work with Program Manager on budget responsibilities and deliverables.
Review invoicing for accuracy and completeness.
Support the team in performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Attend meetings and program reviews, provide presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications to Program Manager as needed.
Provide timely and efficient responses for all urgent tasking.
Ensure program correspondence and deliverables are in accordance with Serco's Quality Assurance Program.
Manage all Contract Mandated Training to ensure compliance with Serco’s CMT program and contract requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
US Citizenship
A Bachelor’s degree
A High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
6 years of experience Project Administration
Strong customer, interpersonal and organizational level communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, to include Excel and PowerPoint.
Written communication skills (e.g., drafting program documents, risk documents, etc.)
The ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Experience working with a large Agile team of developers, engineers, software testers, etc.
Certifications with Microsoft products (excel, powerpoint, word, project, etc.)
Experience with DoD/USAF Programs
Experience supporting Facility and Asset Management Services within the DoD
