Duties: Involved in the design review of HW work products following the project lifecycle. Some examples are Customer Requirements Analysis, Design Verification plan, HW Block Diagram, Schematics, DFMEA & DRBFM, Worst Case Circuit Analysis, PCB Layout, Design Verification, etc. Responsible for the outcome of the work product review, ensuring it is coherent with highest level of expertise in the field of knowledge. Provide feedback according to the best international standards in product design, best engineering practices and aiming to improve the products considering the best balance between performance, quality and cost. Hold a centric position during the request for quotations by technically leading the HW portion of the concept definition in RFQs and RFIs. This includes specifications review, HW architecture definition, effort estimations, and stakeholder's alignment. Mediate in deep technical HW issues between the customers, suppliers and engineering centers. It requires the coordination, definition, troubleshooting and communication of critical issues to the stakeholders. Play a leading role in deep technical HW issue investigations, planning the support, describing the issues, leading the root cause analysis, organizing stakeholder meetings, defining actions, etc. Participate in advance development projects (ADP) to realize positive change for customer products and HW platforms. Play a leading role in some ADPs, following the development plan, researching innovative concepts and ideas. Engage with the platform and product planning teams to support the concept definition of new platforms and building blocks.
