Duties: Conduct product lifecycle analysis at the part-number level to determine sustainment, transfers, or obsolescence strategies. Collaborate with commercial teams to manage product transitions or exits, including proper documentation and inventory disposition. Analyze product-level P&L statements, pricing, and cost structures to identify profitability opportunities and support pricing negotiations. Formulate and execute turnaround plans for underperforming products or business lines. Interpret data from ERP and business systems to assess margins, cost trends, and inventory levels. Lead quoting activities for new and expanding business, using data-driven assumptions to assess capacity and labor requirements. Develop efficient warehouse layouts, production systems, and plant footprints using ERP data and structured analysis tools. Coordinate machine capacity analysis and ensure equipment readiness in alignment with quality, equipment utilization, and engineering standards. Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to align production output with material availability and labor capacity. Manage line transfers by overseeing demand planning, bank builds, equipment relocation, and inventory coordination. Drive operational excellence by leading the standardization of PCB and Assembly manufacturing processes across multiple sites, including process and labor requirements and equipment specifications. Create and support process documentation, including PFMEAs, work instructions, and validation protocols. Support packaging strategy development and ensure readiness for long-term storage needs. Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and other tracking systems to monitor performance and guide strategic decision making.

Requires a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering field plus 3 years of experience in related occupations. Requires 2 years of experience with the following: (1) Product transitions, aftermarket support, and electronics manufacturing; (2) PCB electronics, surface-mount technology (SMT), and PCB preparation processes; (3) Lean Tools: Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Manufacturing Layout Design, Machine Capacity Analysis, Operator Workload Balancing, Ergonomics & Human Factors, Time & Motion Studies; (4) Product Lifecycle Management (end-to-end oversight from launch through end-of-service); (5) Cost structures, pricing models, and margin improvement strategies. Telecommuting is permitted. Requires 30% International travel.
