New Heights Service Solutions LLC Direct Support Professional in Novi, Michigan
Residential DSPs provide consistent, hands-on support to residents living in the new Home 2 program, ensuring daily routines, safety, and well-being are maintained across all 24-hour shifts.
Work hours are based on client care needs and may vary weekly depending on resident schedules and billing eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living skills, medication reminders, and household management.
- Promote independence, dignity, and participation in social or recreational activities.
- Document resident progress, incidents, and shift notes accurately.
- Maintain communication with the Residential Lead regarding shift updates or concerns.
- Adhere to company and LARA licensing standards for resident care and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months of experience in residential or direct care preferred.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background check, drug screen, and required certifications.
Work Environment
- Serves two group home locations as needed.
- May require frequent schedule changes or travel between the 2 sites.
- Involves light physical activity such as cleaning, meal prep, and participation in community outings.

Compensation
- Hourly rate: $17.13/hour; plus $0.50 shift premium for night shift.
- Position is contingent (no guaranteed hours); schedule is based on facility needs.
