+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Responsible for leading, designing, documenting and developing | | climate software modules for complex software-hardware interfaces and | | functions particularly in the automotive industry, taking into | | consideration functionality, quality and costs; perform climate | | engineering design and test activities using computer languages for | | different microprocessors and controllers; develop and document the | | complete design and test of the software modules including | | specification, peer reviews, code reviews, quality standards | | compliance, requirements, and test; specify, stipulate and document | | software modules with customer according to internal and customer | | specifications; coordinate climate software development activities, | | strategies and standards with other corporate departments and | | locations; release software, document and test climate software files | | conforming with quality and customer standards; develop HMI AUTOSAR | | architecture for the implementation of new software components in | | automotive touch screens; perform root cause analysis of unexpected | | behaviors and resolve issues through to final delivery in | | coordination with the customer; debug complex systems both in | | development workstations and directly in real vehicles at customer | | sites; utilize C, C++, Python, Climate Control products, DOORS, Test | | Track defect manager, CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, AUTOSAR, CMM, JIRA, | | MISRA, HMI systems, automotive communication protocols, CAN, LIN, | | MATLAB, Six Sigma Design for Reliability, Simulink, Stateflow, | | LabView, Nonlinear Control Techniques, GPI Control, Sliding Mode | | Control, Trace32, Lauterbach, Softune, SolidWorks, Android Studio, | | Unreal Engine, DET (Diagnostic Engineering Tool), Vuforia, GitLab, | | Agile methodology, V-model software development process, VS Code | | (Visual Studio Code), Coverity, and Git to perform duties; perform | | internal and external customer satisfaction surveys for the software | | department; develop automotive climate systems for different OEM | | customers; use vehicle climate calibrations and tools for conducting | | calibrations; conduct software discussion with customers; support | | module software coding using Matlab and Simulink; and support HVAC | | automotive systems software development. | | | | | | | | Location: 28850 Cabot Drive, Suite 1300, Novi, Michigan 48377; | | | | | | | | Salary: $84,000 per year. | | | | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Education: Bachelors -- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical | | Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or in a | | related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); | | | | | | | | Training: None | | | | | | | | Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as an Embedded | | Software Engineer, as a Mechatronics Engineer, as a DI Apps Software | | Engineer 2, as a Master in Mechatronics, or in a related occupation; | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
