Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Sr. Quality Inspector to support production at our Franklin, MA facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities
Self-starter able to work independently
Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections - focus on machined and assembled mechanical components
Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests
Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and Deltek
Knowledge of test and inspection methodology
Able to properly utilize standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc
Support of QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processes
Supports assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans
Assure inspection equipment used is calibrated
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 Years experience
Experience working on DOD electromechanical products
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Possess good technical communications and team building skills
Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management
Ability to problem solve and critically think
Good trigonometry/geometry math skills
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment
Recent experience operating a CMMI
Pay Transparency
The hourly pay range for this role is $28.00 - $40.00 USD. The hourly pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
