Kelly is seeking an Inside Customer Account Manager to work with our client, a global manufacturing leader, on a temp-to-hire or direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company that has been successful for over 38 years and continues to grow!
The Inside Customer Account Manager will:
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as their main contact for all inquiries and needs
Provide timely and effective communication to address customer questions, concerns, and requests
Prepare and deliver accurate quotes based on customer-provided specifications, drawings, and requirements
Accurately process customer orders from initiation through to delivery, including coordination with internal teams
Work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
Foster and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business
Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for account growth and new sales
Track and report on customer orders, sales progress, and account statuses
Quickly identify and resolve any issues related to orders, delivery, or product quality
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records in CRM and other relevant systems
Negotiate terms, pricing, and close sales deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
Provide basic technical assistance related to product specifications and applications
Check inventory availability and communicate delivery timelines
Verify and adjust prices, ensuring accuracy
Maintain sales order master files, customer lists, and purchase orders
Qualifications:
2-4 years in account management, customer service, or inside sales roles, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Team-oriented with a proactive, customer-focused approach
High level of accuracy in order processing and data management
Professional phone manners and excellent written communication skills
