The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, geometry, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Duties ? Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations using CAD/CAM software. ? Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to create accurate programs. ? Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to verify part dimensions and tolerances. ? Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes. ? Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process. ? Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. ? Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards throughout the programming process. Experience ? Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. ? Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machining processes. ? Familiarity with geometry concepts related to machining and part design. ? Experience with GD&T principles is highly desirable. ? Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. ? Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus. ?
