Summary

As a CNC Programmer at Fabriweld Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in our machining department by developing, refining, and optimizing high-precision programs for large-scale, cutting-edge OEM projects. This position is essential to our success, as you will translate complex blueprints and technical models into the precise machine instructions that drive our multi-axis turning and vertical milling centers. Responsibilities

  • CNC Program Development: Develop and refine CNC programs primarily using GibbsCAM, supported by AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Technical Instruction: Create detailed machine instructions for lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers.
  • Model Translation: Accurately translate intricate product designs and computer models into functional manufacturing instructions.
  • Quality Assurance & Precision: Use advanced math and measurement skills to ensure the precision of complex projects and monitor output for quality.
  • Process Optimization: Recommend specific tooling and create improved work processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with managers, machinists, and processors to establish best practices and ensure all delivery timelines are met.
  • Workspace Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in accordance with company safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience required, ideally within a machining or manufacturing environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in GibbsCAM and AutoCAD is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced ability to read and comprehend complex blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in performing complicated math functions and precision measurements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve programming or machining issues.
