We are seeking a passionate, client-focused, positive, and hardworking individual who shares our commitment to health and wellness at Performance Optimal Health. In this role, you will prioritize the client experience and empower clients to live healthier, better lives while collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an engaging Rowing Instructor to lead high-energy, technique-driven classes that combine cardio, strength, and endurance. This role is responsible for delivering structured, effective workouts while coaching proper rowing form, pacing, and performance. The ideal candidate can balance intensity with instruction, helping participants improve while creating a motivating and inclusive class environment.
Requirements
What You Bring:
Current group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, or similar) preferred, or,
Concept2 Instructor, UCanRow2 Indoor Rowing, or US Rowing Level 1/2 certification.
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Strong understanding of rowing mechanics, stroke sequence, and pacing strategies
Ability to coach proper form and provide real-time feedback in a group setting
Experience programming interval-based and endurance-style workouts
Confident, clear communication and strong presence on the floor or mic
High energy with the ability to motivate a wide range of fitness levels
Reliability and professionalism with a commitment to scheduled classes
Prior rowing or coaching experience preferred, but not required
