Description We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Norton Shores, Michigan. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met while leading a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, industry expertise, and a passion for maintaining excellence in food production.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute comprehensive quality and food safety programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of four quality assurance professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Conduct line checks and monitor product integrity to maintain consistent quality.
• Manage audits, facility inspections, and address customer concerns effectively.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to quality and food safety processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality systems. Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in quality management, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with quality assurance tools and methodologies.
• Ability to handle audits, inspections, and customer inquiries with professionalism.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in food production.
